SpiderWeb: A new tool for people living with Sjögren Disease
Sjögren Europe is pleased to introduce SpiderWeb, a digital tool designed to help people living with Sjögren Disease reflect on their symptoms and prepare for conversations with their healthcare professionals.
Originally developed by the Dutch Sjögren patient community, SpiderWeb combines the Sjögren’s Symptoms Card with the Positive Health Spider Web model, offering a simple visual way for patients to look at different aspects of their health and well-being.
By scoring different areas of daily life, including physical symptoms, mental well-being, quality of life, participation and daily functioning, patients can create a visual overview that helps them identify what matters most and communicate their priorities more clearly.
The tool has already been used in the Netherlands to support patient–doctor communication and is now being introduced across Europe through Sjögren Europe.
SpiderWeb, the Consultation Card, and the Positive Health Questionnaire are currently available in the following languages: English, Italian, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Bulgarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Montenegrin.
